Electric Faith

Introduction
Electric Faith is a multi-user, distributed environment - consisting of a church with calming music, a house with rain falling, a natural forest with wind and running water, and a fantasy forest scene with mysterious music - built with the video game development system Unity and coded in C#.
It runs on Windows and Mac machines.

The Four Environments
Subtitle
The Digital Church, the Natural Forest, the Fantasy Forest and the Rain House are multi-player, avatar-based environments for holding small meetings.
For each of these environments, you must download the version of the game that matches your platform (Windows or Mac).
The Fantasy Forest and the Natural Forest are also easy single player or multiple player Bible Study games (that can be used as a way of introducing members of a group to each other).
Find Bible passages on billboards in the natural forest and the fantasy forest and then guess what the passages mean. Click buttons to see an interpretation of each passage.
The Rain House does not have a game in it - just enjoy being in a relaxing environment!
The digital church can be used for meetings - or the first person in the church can run a service while controlling the display at the front of the church.
There is one download for each platform (Windows, Intel Mac, Apple Silicon Mac). Choose from six different Avatars after you start the game up.

I have authored a best-selling textbook on 3D modeling and animation called 3D Animation for the Raw Beginner, Using Autodesk Maya, 2nd Edition.
I am also a chaplain at Boulder Community Hospital and I serve as the pastor of First United Methodist Church of Pierce, Colorado.
I received my B.A. in Math from Occidental College and my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. I am also a graduate of the seminary at the Iliff School of Theology.
I grew up in Oxnard, California, and currently live in Boulder, Colorado.
My areas of expertise in technology include 3D modeling and animation with Maya, audio editing and repair, web design (including this site), database and information system design, and multiplayer, networked game development with Unity.
As a pastor, I love to deliver historically-rooted, biblically-based, inclusive messages with lessons that are relevant to all people today.
I believe in living with empathy, forgiveness, and generosity, and with a genuine concern for the welfare of all people, regardless of their ethnic roots, personal lifestyle, or their spiritual practices.
