Electric Faith

Introduction

Electric Faith is a multi-user, distributed environment - consisting of a church, a house, a forest, and a fantasy forest scene - built with the video game development system Unity and coded in C#.

It runs on Windows and Mac machines.

At this point, the house and church environments, as well as the forest and fantasy forest games are available.

The Church and the House are environments for holding small meetings.
But the Realistic Forest is also a very simple multiple player game that can be used as a way of introducing members of a group to each other. Read motivational messages on cubes in the forest and then discuss them as a group.
And the Fantasy Forest has a Bible Study game in it that can be played by 1 player or several. Find Bible passages on billboards in the forest and then guess what the passages mean. Click buttons to see an interpretation of each passage.
Give the house or church environments, the realistic forest group introduction game, or the fantasy forest Bible Study game a try!

THERE ARE FOUR DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE ELECTRIC FAITH VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT: A HOUSE, A CHURCH, A FOREST, AND A FANTASY FOREST.

THERE IS ALSO A VERY SIMPLE VIDEO CHAT APP THAT CAN BE USED FOR INITIAL INTRODUCTIONS IF YOUR GROUP ISN'T INITIALLY COMFORTABLE MEETING AS AVATARS. THE CHAP APP IS NOT MEANT AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE ELECTRIC FAITH VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS - AND MOST USERS WILL NOT USE IT.

Very Important: DO NOT RUN THE VIDEO CHAT APP IN PARALLEL WITH ANY OF THE ENVIRONMENTS. THE CPU AND NETWORK DEMANDS WILL BE TOO GREAT.

See below for download links for the HOUSE and CHURCH environments, as well as the FOREST and FANTASY FOREST environment/games. For each, you can choose between a boy and a girl avatar. You will also find download links for the Windows and Mac video chat apps.

We would be very excited to see your non profit group meeting on Electric Faith - at no charge.

Your group could meet in the house, the forest, or the church.
